Confirmation of Payee (CoP)

Confirmation of Payee is an account name-checking service for UK-based payments designed to ensure that payments are sent to the correct account, reducing the risk of error and protecting you from fraud. When making a payment, the CoP service matches the name provided with the registered account name, helping to confirm that the payment details are correct.

All eligible customers are automatically included in the Confirmation of Payee service.

Opt-Out / Opt-In Request

If you have special circumstances and want to opt out of the CoP service, please contact your relationship manager. If you opt-out, your ENBD - London account will not be checked when another person or business attempts to make a payment to it. They may delay the payment or not process it. Not all accounts are eligible for opt-out; we will inform you if this applies to your account.

If you previously opted out of CoP and wish to re-enrol, please get in touch with your relationship manager to opt back in.
